Criteria

  1. All scholarship applications must be sent electronically to your local AEE Chapter no later than April 26th, 2024.
  1. Scholarships shall be available to undergraduate and graduate degree candidates who are enrolled in engineering/sustainability related programs at accredited colleges or universities
  1. Scholarship funds are to be used for courses directly related to energy engineering, energy management, and/or sustainability.

Student Application:

    1. Download and Complete the INTL STUDENT APPLICATION.
    2. Submit your transcripts.
    3. Submit an 200-300-word essay indicating why you want to pursue a career in the energy industry, your real financial need, and what your professional/personal goals are.
    4. Provide no more than two letters of recommendation.
    5. You can provide additional information on any awards you’ve received, volunteer records, or other relevant experience you want us to consider with your application (no more than two pages).
    6. Submit your application to your local Chapter of Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in your region.

Process after 26 April 2024

  1. Prospective candidates will be screen by the Chapter officers at SAEEC
  2. Each Chapter will submit up to six (6) nominees, no more than two of whom may be post-baccalaureate students.
  3. Local chapter will submit your application directly to AEE.
  4. AEE closing date for submissions: 6 May 2024
  5. Results are posted by August 1st of each year. You will be notified by email if your application was chosen for one of the scholarships.
