BIOGAS Course: 29 November – 2 December 2021
- The Biogas End User course is aimed at developers of small-scale biogas projects, including farmers that focus on animal husbandry or intensive horticulture, commercial and public businesses, eco-industrial parks, etc.
The end user course is a higher level theoretical training course and will cover topics like:
- Overview of Biochemistry and raw materials in the biogas field
- Potential usage of biogas
- Circular economy aspects
- Biogas project development
- Health, safety and environmental aspects
- Biogas plant operations
RETScreen Expert: 2 November 2021
The RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software (usually shortened to RETScreen Expert) is a software package developed by the Government of Canada. The RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software is the world’s leading clean energy decision-making software. RETScreen is a proven enabler of clean energy projects worldwide and allows decision-makers and professionals to determine whether or not a proposed renewable energy, energy efficiency, or cogeneration project makes financial sense, as well as evaluate the performance of the project. If a project is viable—or if it is not—RETScreen will help the decision-maker understand this: quickly, unequivocally, in a user-friendly format, and at relatively minimal cost.
The online training will consist of a three hour online sessions, and will be limited to 15 participants.
